Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

Wellwinder is provided by R-DEV Limited (“R-DEV”, “we”, “us” or “our”), Hakaru, New Zealand. Tomas Radvansky is the privacy contact. This policy applies to the Wellwinder game and its information website.

2. No advertising or analytics tracking

The current Wellwinder website has no sign-up or contact form, analytics tool, advertising tracker, tracking pixel, or non-essential cookie. Its small script only updates the on-screen depth display and scroll indicator. The game contains no R-DEV analytics or advertising SDK, and it does not send gameplay analytics to an R-DEV server.

If you email us, we receive the email address and any information you choose to include so we can respond.

3. Website hosting logs

The provider serving this static website may automatically process technical request data to deliver and protect it. Depending on the hosting setup, this can include an IP address, browser or device details, requested page, and time of request. These are ordinary hosting or security logs, not advertising profiles; the hosting provider controls its own systems and retention settings.

4. Information used by the game

• On your device: game progress, settings, equipment, and save data are stored locally so the game can work and remember your choices.
• iCloud / CloudKit: the release game can sync game saves between your Apple devices through Apple’s CloudKit service. The data can include game progress, well state, purchases recorded for game access, and a generated device identifier and device name used to keep saves in sync. The save is associated with your iCloud account.
• Game Center: when Game Center is available and you are signed in, the game can send achievements and leaderboard scores such as deepest level, coins, and completed trips to Apple’s Game Center service. Apple handles your Game Center account and presents its sign-in interface.
• StoreKit purchases: Apple processes App Store purchases and verifies access to purchased game content. R-DEV does not receive your Apple Account password or payment card details.

These Apple features provide saves, achievements, leaderboards, and purchases; they are not advertising or cross-app tracking. Apple handles information under its own privacy terms. You can review Apple’s Privacy Policy and manage iCloud or Game Center through your Apple device settings.

5. Sharing and overseas processing

We do not sell personal information. For the features above, information may be processed by Apple and by the provider hosting the website. Those providers may store or process information outside New Zealand under their own terms and privacy practices. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

6. Storage, retention, and your choices

Local game data remains on your device until you reset or remove it using the game or your device’s controls. iCloud save data is managed through the game and Apple’s iCloud account and settings. R-DEV does not keep a separate Wellwinder analytics profile. Email correspondence is kept only as needed to respond and maintain ordinary business records.

You can choose not to use Game Center, iCloud sync, or App Store purchases, subject to how those features work on your device. Apple controls its service account and data settings.

7. Access, correction, and complaints

Under New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020, you can ask whether R-DEV holds personal information about you and request access to or correction of it. Contact us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with how a privacy concern is handled, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
